Dan and Katie moved to Hidden Hills Orchard in 2021, leaving behind 15 years in another industry to chase their longtime dream of making craft hard cider.

Dan has been making hard cider from the apples on his parent’s orchard for over a decade and always dreamed of sharing it with a larger crowd.

After moving to the orchard, we began putting into motion this dream. Dan became a certified cider maker by the Cider Institute of North America and the family began planting apples trees specifically for the flavors and complexity they bring to cider.

In 2024, Dan initiated conversations to start a partnership with Old Bridge Brewing Co. This collaboration celebrates Southeast Ohio roots, local agriculture, and craft beverage. The first cider from this partnership is on tap starting July 2025.
